FRIDAY THE 13TH JASON (1989 VIDEO GAME APPEARANCE) ACTION FIGURE 

NECA just announced they are debuting an exclusive new collectible figure of Jason Voorhees at San Diego Comic Con this year. It’s inspired by the 1989 NES game Friday the 13th and the figure features an appropriate color palette to match the same from the video game which is amazing.

Jason’s mask, hands and shoes also glow in the dark with a soft blue color tone. His machete blade and axe head also glow in the dark but are colored white to distinguish them apart.  

The packaging for the figure is also designed to imitate the original box art and packaging of the video game. The figure will be sold at San Deigo Comic Con for a mere $25. 

If any of our readers is headed to Comic Con, I’d appreciate a heads up because I want one of these Jason figures so bad. The last time I had this kind of action figure lust it was those custom Metal Gear Solid 3 Cobra Unit figures.
